Jana Hartmann has been researching in the DWD's German Meteorological Library since 2024.

In her book “B wie Blitz”, she presents twenty-six facets - from A to Z - that reveal how closely the weather phenomenon of lightning has always been intertwined with human culture and society. Here, lightning is representative of the generally close interdependence between humans and the weather.
